Oves Anwar is a legal professional with a passion for technology. His experience as Director of Research at the Research Society of International Law (RSIL) has seen him lead significant initiatives and contribute to legal reforms in Pakistan.
Anwar’s entrepreneurial spirit led to the establishment of LAWGIC, a law and technology startup. Here, his unique blend of legal and tech expertise drives the mission to create innovative digital solutions for social impact.
In addition to his roles at RSIL and LAWGIC, Anwar is a Senior Fellow at the Centre of Excellence for International Law. His diverse experience and commitment to social impact make him a driving force behind LAWGIC’s vision and mission.
Abdul Ghani is a seasoned Product Designer and Manager with a robust coding background. His journey, driven by a childhood love for technology, led him to self-teach design tools, evolving from Flash MX and Photoshop 7 to Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma.
Ghani’s entrepreneurial spirit has seen him co-found two startups, complete over 150 projects, and play a pivotal role in guiding tech enterprises toward success. Notably, he spearheaded the creation of Pakistan’s first social media network for lawyers.
In addition to his technical prowess, Ghani holds a background in law, enhancing his understanding of concept articulation, boundary definition, and effective communication. This unique blend shapes his design approach: simplicity coupled with high functionality. His diverse experience and commitment to simplicity and functionality make him a driving force behind LAWGIC’s vision and mission.
